Erotica Monthly Newsletter for April
Love, sex, and
Intimacy,
Love
I'd like to run
away
From you,
But if you didn't
come
And find me ...
I would die.
~ by Shirley Bassey ~
Sex
I have found men who didn't know how to kiss.
I've always found time to teach them.

Marriages
A study done in 1993 by the
National Survey of Family and Households states that 16 percent of the
couples surveyed had not had sex in the last year. The study notes that sexual
inactivity in marriage is considered deviant and people tend to under report
deviant behavior
Polyamory
In her book, The Anatomy of
Love, Helen Fisher states that 86% of world cultures sanction some form of
polygamy or polyandry (marriage to more than one
partner)
"And herein may
lie the heart of the controversy. There is something about the way we are
currently taught to relate that causes us to keep secrets, withhold our
feelings, deny our desires, want to own and control our partners and blatantly
lie about what we actually do...We have to look straight within and be who we
are, and see our partners for who they, truly are. In that environment, intimacy
is a very hard thing to escape."
Excerpts from an interview with Brett
Hill co-editor of Loving More magazine
INTIMATE ADVENTURE for the
month of MAY
Think for a moment, try to
remember some of the thoughts and feelings that you had today, the ones you
would never tell anyone about.
Did you feel like running
away?
Did you daydream for a bit
about how life would be without your lover?
Did you fantasize about
something you would never want anyone to know about.
Choose one of those, one tiny
secret. .
Tell that secret to your
lover.
Admit it to them as proof that
you are human too and you will have great sex tonight.
For this little secret of yours
is an aphrodisiac.
Honesty and acceptance, truth
and intimacy are a great turn-on for both men and
women.
